Question When are the academy semesters?
Answer Oct. 2008 to June 26th 2009.
Question Can I register only to one semester?
Answer Yes. Please specify that in the registration form.
Question When should I arrive in Israel?
Answer
We would like you to arrive a few days before you start your studies period in order to get organized in your room, find out where everything is, do your shopping, get to know the busses, and so on. Please notify us of your arrival date as soon as possible – way in advance.
Question How can I get to Dance Village (Gaaton)?
Answer You can take the train from the airport (Ben-Gurion Airport) to the city of Nahariya and we will pick you up at the train station.
Question Do I need any kind of insurance?
Answer All our students are required to have a medical insurance that is valid for Israel.
You must fill in the appropriate place in the registration form about your insurance. If you do not have a medical insurance for Israel, you can obtain it on arrival at our office.

We also suggest, although this is not obligatory, that when you buy your airline ticket, also purchase insurance in case of lost luggage or any occurrence during the flight. It is just a few dollars more. Good travel insurance will also cover you if for some reason you need to leave the country and want a refund.
Question Where are the dormitories?
Answer The dormitory is at the Dance Village in Kibbutz Gaaton, a 5 minute walk from the studios. You will find the address and pictures on our Accommodations page.
Question Where do I buy food?
Answer There are supermarkets at the Dance Village. In city of Nahariya, a 10 minute drive, there are also quite a few restaurants, a shopping mall, markets and more.
Question How many students are in a room?
Answer We have rooms for 2 students and rooms for singles. The prices are specified in the Accommodation page.
Question What about security and dormitory rules?
Answer The dormitories area is surrounded by fence and gates. The gate is closed at night with a security guard who will check any one who enters the campus. Each student residing in the dormitories will have a key for the room. You are responsible for the key, and to lock your own apartments. There are also night security patrols that watch the compound.
Question Is there a dress code for the workshop?
Answer We respect the traditional ballet dress code; try to look like a professional, mature ballet dancer. Girls, please wear your hair up so we can see your neck line. Also, the weather in Israel most of the year is warm so you don't need lots of warmer close to wear in class.
Question When can we do our shopping, banking, etc...?
Answer There will be a day off in the middle of the week, when you can do all your private arrangements the day will be published in the schedule.
Saturdays will be a regular school day off.
Question Is there Internet connection in the rooms?
Answer Internet connection can be arranged on request. Let us know if you bring your computer and need it. There is also a public computer / internet in the school lobby.
Question Do you have an installment payment plan?
Answer Yes, we do have an installment plan. Please contact us for details.

IMPORTANT: If you are on any medication, please notify the office, and bring enough supply with you as you might not be able to buy medicine in Israel with a doctor's prescription from another country.
