Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, Open an exciting new, 5 months Dance program: Dance Journey
We offer students an unparalleled opportunity to discover themselves as artists and experience Israel.
 
Housed in the "Galilee Dance Village" campus in Northern Israel and in the spacious dance studios of KCDC Dance Center, the program provides a comprehensive general education in Dance, including specialized courses in Israeli Dance, Modern dance, Ballet, Hip hop, MPT Placement technique.
 
The Dance Curriculum emphasizes Modern and Ballet technique as its foundational language, complimented with extensive training in past and current forms of Modern dance, Ethnic dance studies, Improvisation and Repertoire.
 
The dance curriculum includes significant studies of the choreography of Rami Be'er, as well as the work of contemporary artists from within the Israeli vibrant dance community and KCDC dancers . With its direct relationship to one of the foremost choreographers of Israel, this dance program stands in a unique position, offering students access to the process of choreographer creating new ballet.
 
The Dance Journey program strives to develop dancers of exceptional skill and artistry.
 
Core Content of the program:
Ballet, Contemporary dance, Technique, Repertory, Improvisation, MPT Placement Technique, Rehearsals for program complete performance.
Intensive Hebrew Ulpan, Tours to see Israel. Community volunteering, Israel study, Israeli Movies and more.
Extra: Trips to see dance performances of Israeli dance companies, Dance workshop with other dance program/schools in Israel.
 
The MASA program contains also educational and experimental projects. We shall together tour Israel, starting up north from the Golan Hights and the Kinneret, through the holly city – Jerusalem, the city of tel aviv and the amazing desert in the south, including swimming in the dead sea.
 
We shall meet the Israeli population and by that – will get acquaintance with the current Israeli culture, we shall learn Hebrew and will also voluntreer in one of the communities which surround kibbutz Ga'aton.
We shall also learn about Judaism and will experience the Jewish holidays first time at the land of Israel.

MASA Universal grants enable thousands of young adults from around the world to participate in long term programs in Israel each year.
Every Jewish person ages 18-30 who complete one of the 160 MASA Israel Programs are qualified to receive a MASA grant.

"Masa visa" to Israel:
 
The student has to arrange a "Masa visa" for Israel. Upon receiving a confirmation from the "Masa Israel journey" and from KCDC, he has to approach the Israeli embassy located in his country, and there he will receive the A/M visa.
